This oyster trio was inspired from the artist, Amy Fogg Reedy, starting a new chapter by her family of four changing into a family of three. The oysters represent Amy and her two children. Amy connected to the oyster while navigating through a life changing event. Through faith and hope, she emerged a pearl, and like the oyster, was lifted out of dark waters and given new life. The Bible verse inspired by this piece is Psalm 18:4-6
