Amy Fogg Reedy of Amy Fogg Art

Mixed media artist Amy Fogg Reedy earned a BS in Secondary Art Education from the University of Southwestern Louisiana over 25 years ago. She has been an artist and educator ever since. Amy has been the owner of Amy Fogg Art and believes that she is “Guided by God” in her works & is inspired by what life brings to her. For Amy, painting is therapy through the process of reflecting on life’s experiences and bringing them to life on canvas. Amy primarily works with acrylics and experiments with textural materials.  Waterscapes, abstracts, florals, painted champagne bottles, imagery from travels & coastal inspirations are among many Amy’s subjects. When Amy is not creating, she enjoys time with her blended family of six, travel, beach walks, cooking & time with loved ones.
