Coastal Dune Lake Print Collection

One day I was having lunch in the studio and read an article in the newspaper about the 15 rare, coastal dune lakes in Walton County. I knew about Western Lake. It's the most visible as you are heading east on 30A and about to enter into the Watercolor neighborhood.  Look to the right, over the the lake, and see the group of pine trees that form an umbrella-looking shape silhouetted against the sky.  These trees on Western Lake have been synonymous with the area and make for a beautiful painting.

But what about the 14 other coastal dune lakes? That's when I had the idea to visit the lakes and paint something inspired by each visit which became my Coastal Dune Lake Collection.
