NEW Coastal Dune Lake giclée print. Topsail Hill Preserve Park in Santa Rosa Beach, FL is full of inspiration for me. And contains 3 coastal dune lakes. I’ve painted loads of paintings from various visits on foot and bicycle around the park.
This scene was all about combining the unique elements that make our coastal landscape so special here on 30A. It was a bright, sunny day. I loved the shapes of sky coming through the slash pines and hoped to capture the sunny atmosphere of the sky, water, dunes and scrubby landscape in soft, muted colors and brushstrokes. The original painting resides with a collector in California.
