"Ombre" Giclée Print

“Ombre” is a painting inspired by a visit to Topsail State Park in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.  First I biked westward in the park until I got to some muddy areas and couldn't go any further. I set out on foot to get a view of the coastal dune lakes at the park. I couldn't believe the beauty of this remote area of the park. It was a site to behold, with beautiful white sand dunes overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and not a soul in sight. After about an hour, I made it to Morris Lake. As I peeked through the foliage at the lake, I was rewarded with a sighting of a lovely blue heron. This heron turned out to be quite a muse for me. I’ve painted her numerous times in different ways. In this giclée print of the painting she is surrounded by vibrant, contrasting complementary colors of blue and orange
