"Bonita" Giclée Print

You might recognize this print. Bonita was selected as the poster and T-shirt winner for the 2016 Mattie Kelly Festival of the Arts in Destin, FL. I painted it after a visit to the Destin Harbor, where the fishing boats head out early in the morning and return by mid-day, showing off their catches. The Bonita fish caught my eye—it was the most colorful “catch of the day” and quickly became the inspiration for this painting.
