"Boca Beach" Giclée Print

"Boca Beach", by Kathleen Broaderick, was inspired by a late afternoon walk on a beach on Gasparilla Island, Florida. "I had been teaching a workshop at the Boca Grande Art Center that ended around 4pm. I saw a storm was moving in but I headed off to the beach anyway to do a bit of sightseeing on this beautiful island.  The colors were amazing.  The dark storm clouds made a wonderful shape in the sky and the bit of sunlight that peeked through lit up the water in such a brilliant turquoise.  I knew immediately it would be a great painting."
