About the Print From the Artist, Amy Fogg Reedy:
When Amy Fogg Reedy's family of four became three, she found an unexpected metaphor in the oyster—a creature that transforms challenge into something luminous. This trio represents Amy and her two children moving forward together through change.
Like the oyster that creates a pearl through pressure and time, Amy discovered that faith and hope could transform even the most difficult seasons. The oyster spends its life in darkness until it's lifted into light—a journey that mirrors her own emergence into new life.
Inspired by Psalm 18:4-6
