Kathleen Broaderick

Kathleen Broaderick has been a resident of the beautiful Emerald Coast of Florida for the past 25 years but she began her artistic journey during her last semester at Florida State University as a Communications major.  She decided to fill an extra elective slot in her schedule with a watercolor class and never looked back. After raising two children and teaching elementary school, she has turned her longtime passion into a career. Kathleen’s work has been described as perfectly seizing the essence of her subjects. Instead of perfectly representing exact details and color, Kathleen paints to capture an impression and evoke deep and true emotions from within the viewer.
